Domaine de l’Aurage 2025 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers creaminess, with a certain richness in elegance of fruit. There are notes of creamy blackberry, crushed strawberry and small notes of small crushed/brilliant fruits, associated with touches of pulpy cherry, as well as fine hints of cornflower, delicate hints of chocolate and a hint of blond tobacco. The palate is well-built, fresh, chiselled, precise and offers finesse in its structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, creamy blackberry and small notes of fleshy wild strawberry, combined with touches of chocolate, toasted, as well as a hint of star anise, toasted, fine hints of taosted-fresh almond and a subtle hint of fresh hazelnut. Good length. Freshness and tension on the finish. Finely powdered tannins.
