The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. There is also a fresh touch of peppermint, menthol, liquorice, as well as a spiciness of cloves, cinnamon and white pepper. There is also a note of violet in the background. On the palate, the wine has quite powerful tannins, firm structure but velvety texture, concentration and crisp, fresh acidity.
