The nose is elegant, racy, precise and offers a beautiful finesse, complexity as well as concentration / richness (but full of balance). It reveals notes of black cherry, wild blackberry and small notes of wild raspberry associated with touches of berries, licorice, spices, very slight hints of Cuben pepper as well as a very slight hint of blond tobacco and Bourbon vanilla. The wine needs to be put in carafe. The mouth is beautifully balanced, racy and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful freshness, a beautiful juiciness, tension, an acidulous frame, a small straightness, a good structure / construction, fleshiness, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a fine suavity / gourmandise. Beautiful quality of the fruit ! On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, ripe / crushed red berries and small notes of strawberry associated with small touches of fleshy / juicy cassis, slight toasted touches, tonka bean, cardamom as well as a touch of very discreet hint of flowers, vanilla, racy minerality and an imperceptible hint of almost saline minerality (in the background). Tannins are elegant and structuring. A very fine chews as well as slight hints of almond and toasted on the finish / persistence. Beautiful persistence.
