Domaine de l’Amauve, Le vin d’Adrien 2023 – Côtes du Rhône

The wine has a bright pale ruby ​​color. The nose offers a certain concentration, freshness, juiciness and tangyiness of the fruit. It expresses notes of sour red cherry, strawberry, red currants, raspberry and red plum, associated with touches of blackcurrant, violet, white pepper, bay leaf (in the background), as well as a hint of strawberry jam and iris, even a discreet touch of chocolate. The palate offers firmness, a certain concentration, juiciness and gourmandise, associated with smooth but structured tannins. It expresses notes of ripe wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, blackcurrant (even blackcurrant jam), red plum (with a touch of black plum) and blackberry, associated with notes of white pepper, violet, dried rose in the background and a good bitterness of cocoa on the finish. Beautiful persistence with chewiness, gourmandise, fresh acidity and a certain firmness, all in balance.
