The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity with purplish reflections. The nose is aromatic but delicate and a little reserved at first. The first nose expresses a subtle note of smoked meat, on the second nose, we find a fruity bouquet, with fresh and slightly jammy notes (red cherry, morello cherry, wild strawberry, crushed strawberry, black plum, blackcurrant, blackcurrant cream), underlined by a touch of dark chocolate, cinnamon, clove, liquorice and dried aromatic herbs (thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, savory) and rose petals. On the palate, the wine is concentrated, dense and warm, with well-structured, enveloping, slightly dry, but supple tannins with a silky texture. The flavors are ripe, fruity and expressive. It reveals notes of black plum, morello cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry, a slight touch of prunes, smoke, bay leaf, liquorice, violets and dried rose petals. The wine is long in the mouth, with a slight bitterness and a lively acidity. The alcohol level is quite high, but integrated thanks to the freshness of the wine.
