• Domaine de la Ville Rouge – Inspiration 2019 – Crozes-Hermitage

The nose is elegant, precise and offers piwer as well as a good definition. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, black plum, small notes of camphor associated with touches of black pepper, lily, graphite, hints of pulpy blue fruits, cherry blossom as well as hints of nutmeg, spices and a discreet hint of grey pepper. The palate s fruity, juicy, elegant, well-balanced, finely tight and offers freshness, minerality, concentration, an acidulous frame as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cherry, acidulous/pulpy black plum, small notes of small black berries associated with touches of violet, crushed raspberry, hints of small juicy/fresh blue fruits, fresh vanilla pod, lilac, sense of the place (local biotope) as well as fine hints of cocoa and toasted. Good length.
