The nose is fruity, spicy and offers some depth as well as a fine and tense grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, small wild red berries and slight notes of cherry associated with touches of pepper, sap/warm pine needle, fresh flowers and spices. The mouth is fresh, mineral, fruity and offers tension, a nice energy as well as acidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy cherry, blackberry and slight notes of tangy/juicy plum associated with touches of cornflower, star anise as well as a subtle hint of iodine and almost fresh flowers. The tannins are supple and sapid. Good length.
