Domaine de la Solitude 2018 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize, a certain intensity. It reveals notes of juicy/ripe black cherry, juicy/quite ripe cassis, small notes of violet associated with touches of racy minerality small black fruits, liquorice as well as a very discreet flowery hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, gourmandize as well as fullness, freshness and a focus of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, juicy cherry/black cherry, small notes of small juicy black fruits associated with small touches of cornflower, small juicy blue berries as well as very fine hints of caramelization, chocolate and a very discreet hint of vanilla.
