The nose is elegant, precise, structuring and offers deepness, intensity, a delicate power and a fine grain. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of bigarreau cherry, ripe blackberry, firm/ripe cassis, small notes of small firm/ripe wild red fruits associated with small touches of cherry blossom, violet as well as delicate notes of olive tree/garrigue, a racy minerality and discreet hints of nutmeg/spices. The palate is fruity, aerial, delicate, racy and offers freshness, minerality, deepness as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain, complexity in its power, a mineral frame, a certain straightness and a certain richness (full of control/justness). On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy bigarreau cherry, juicy/ripe blackberry, small notes of ripe/firm cassis associated with touches of small ripe red berries as well as hints of violet, garrigue, discreet hints of racy minerality, a subtle hint of spices, toasted and an imperceptible hint of clove. Good length. Tannins are elegant and well-built.
