Domaine de La Réserve d’O – La Côte d’Arboras 2018 – Terrasses du Larzac

The nose is fruity and offers a small power, intensity as well as a beautiful control and harmony. It reveals notes of pulpy wild cassis, pulpy cherry, small notes of wild raspberry associated with touches of violet, small wild blue berries as well as a hint of lily, discreet hints of garrigue, Cuben pepper, spices, an imperceptible hint of tobacco and citrus zests. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, minerality, a silky touch as well as a small richness, a very finely tight/very fine grain, gourmandize, a racy minerality, a certain deepness and a beautiful matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild raspberry, wild pulpy/juicy violet plum, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of lily, small pulpy blue fruits as well as fine hints of vanilla, tonka bean, cardamom, a very discreet hint of fresh mild tobacco and garriguette. Tannins are precise, structuring and well-built. Good length.
