Domaine de la Préceptorie – Terres Nouvelles 2015 – AOC Côtes du Roussillon

The nose is aromatic, fresh and offers gourmandise as well as a small power. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blueberry and small notes of blackberry associated with a hint of Bigarreau cherry, black olive as well as an imperceptible touch of thyme (in the background), tonka bean and an imperceptible toasted touch / sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a fine mineral frame, a beautiful juiciness, fat, unctuosity, straightess, a small tension, a fine freshness, power, gourmandise, a small roundness, a beautiful ripe fruit as well as richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, black cherry and small notes of redcurrant combined with hints of black cherry, sweet spices, ripe almond as well as a very discreet toasted hint, chocolate and an imperceptible touch of caramelization. Tannins are supple.
