It reveals notes of cherry, crushed red berries and a touch of Quetsche plum, cassis / cassis leaves combined with discreet hints of licorice, Sichuan pepper, racy minerality and a toasted touch / spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine juiciness, a small minerality as well as an acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy red cherry, red berries and small notes of cassis associated with fine touches blackberry, cassis leaf, crushed strawberry as well as discreet touches of licorice, rose and a very discreet hint of sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. There are an imperceptible touch of chocolate and an imperceptible almond on the finish.
