The nose is concentrated, powerful and offers a slight density. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed plum and wild strawberry combined with hints of ripe redcurrant, hint of rose as well as a subtle hints of spice, Sichuan pepper, mocha and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, gourmand, well-balanced, fresh and offers a beautiful finesse, roundness, suavity, a slight acid frame as well as a slight minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy Quetsche plum and black cherry combined with touches of redcurrant, fleshy/ crushed raspberry as well as slight touches of Zan, cassis bud / flower and a subtle toasted touch. Good length.
