Domaine de la Placette 2020 – Fronsac

The nose is floral, marked on red fruits and offers elegance. It reveals notes of violet, bright cherry and slight hints of bright raspberry associated with a touch of peony, cherry blossoms as well as a touch of pulpy purple plum and a discreet hint of zan. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, a certain gourmandise, accuracy as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, pulpy/fresh raspberry and slight hints of blueberry associated with touches of bright cherry, rose, peony as well as hints of sense of place, a subtle hint of zan and a very discreet hint of fresh blond tobacco. The tannins are supple and elegant. Good length. A wine with a fresh, flowery style and on luscious red fruits. A well executed/led wine!
