Domaine de la Pigotte 2023 – Médoc

The nose offers juiciness, freshness and a certain concentration. It expresses notes of morello cherry, red cherry, blackcurrant and crushed blueberry, associated with a pleasant herbaceous hint (blackcurrant leaf, mint), as well as very delicate aromas of violet and liquorice in the background. The palate is juicy, on fruits and lightness, with fine tannins, but perceptible and slightly grippy in the mid-palate. The flavors have a certain fermentative hint (red cherry in compote), but also juicy and fresh fruits (griotte, blackcurrant, black plum), associated with a hint of liquorice, smoke (very light), violet and blackcurrantleaf. Fruity, nice acidity and lightness.
