The nose is aromatic and intense. It reveals notes of flowers (iris, violet) and slight notes of boysenberry, crushed cassis associated with a discreet hint of plum as well as woody touches and a note of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, ample, suave and offers an acid frame, a good definition, a beautiful juiciness, a slight smooth as well as a slight gourmandize. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, fleshy plum and slight notes of cassis associated with a hint of fresh red fruits, woody hints, dark chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of cardamom and graphite on the finish. Tannins are fine, firm and slightly dry. Good length. There is a slight hint of chocolate on the persistence.
