(organic) The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers density, spicy and smoky aromas, as well as notes of ripe fruit and light notes of roasted fruit. We find touches of very ripe black plum (even with a side of prunes and plum cream), wild strawberries, crushed blackberries, raspberry jam and morello cherries in chocolate, combined with savoury notes of aromatic herbs (garrigue, dried thyme, dried rosemary, savory, dried mint), spices (ground cumin, liquorice) and dried wild flowers. On the palate, the wine offers freshness and tanginess of fruit. We find the flavors of tart red cherry, morello cherry, a touch of blackcurrant in the background, black plum, wild strawberry, as well as a toasted and smoked hint, associated with notes of sweet spices (liquorice, nutmeg, cumin), aromatic herbs (dried thyme, dried rosemary, garrigue, dried mint), with good bitterness and a touch of wild flowers. The tannins are firm, with controlled power slightly dry on the finish, but pleasant thanks to their chocolatehint. The finish is quite persistent, warm, due to the degree of alcohol, but balanced by a good level of acidity.
