Domaine de La Graveirette – Source 2020 – Châteauneuf-du-Pape

A beautiful, intense, concentrated nose, it offers fruit, a good definition and a bewitching yet complex side at the same time. It reveals notes of boysenberry, crushed cherry and small notes of bright violet plum, associated with touches of wild red berries in jelly, as well as fine hints of tobacco, a hint of olive tree garrigue, discreet hints of spice and a subtle hint of clove. The palate is well-built, fruity, fresh, mineral and offers a mineral frame, acidity, energy, a beautiful definition as well as suppleness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, bright cherry and small notes of juicy/fresh quetsche plum, combined with touches of violet, wild red berries, as well as a fine hint of balsamic, local garrigue and a discreet hint of toasted, zan/badiane and a hint of black olive and cocoa nibs. Delicate toastiness and discreet roasted of the seed. Tannins are mellow and gourmand. A velvety wine.
