Lovely, gourmand nose, with fruit, substance, richness in balance, a certain deepness and a small creaminess. A fruit that is beginning to take on more evolved notes. It reveals notes of blueberry, quite ripe strawberry and small notes of small quite ripe red fruits associated with touches of violet, star anise, crème de cassis as well as fine hints of balsamic, nutmeg/spices and a hint of Madagascar pepper. The palate is well-built, fruity, mineral, juicy and offers a certain gourmandise, a tangy frame, a nice mellowness, airy grain, well-balanced matter and a certain richness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, crushed strawberry and small notes of violet combined with touches of crushed red berries, as well as hints of coffee, cocoa/mocha, small roasted-elegant fruits, fine hints of garrigue/roasted thyme, a subtle hint of crushed arbutus, tobacco and zan. Good length. Tannins are sapid and mellow. An imperceptible hint of sappy (in the background) that gives length.
