Domaine de la Graveirette 2016 – Châteauneuf-du-Pape

The nose is fruity, elegant, gourmand and offers a beautiful definition, power and harmony. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet, small notes of wild strawberry associated with fine touches of cassis, iris as well as fine hints of garrigue, graphite/racy minerality as well as discreet hints of nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a good definition, gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame as well as finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy red cherry, fleshy/juicy cassis, small notes of juicy raspberry associated with a hint of small juicy red berries as well as fine hints of violet, nutmeg, iris and sweet spices. Tannins are elegant, racy and offers a very discreet chew.
