Domaine de la Font des Pères 2020 – Bandol

The wine has a beautiful light lemon yellow color. The nose is powerful and aromatic with a nice mix of fresh fruits and dried fruits. There are notes of mint as well as apple and dried lemon. We also perceive some touches of almond. The second nose is still aromatic but more on exotic fruits like lychee and pineapple. The palate is fresh with a beautiful velvety texture and invigorating acidity. We have a smoky mineral side which accompanies fruits like candied lemon, pineapple and dried banana. There is a saline hint in the mouth which complicates the whole and we end the tasting with a finish with fine hints of black tea. Beautiful wine.
