The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers concentration and substance, as well as some jaminess of the fruit. It expresses notes of crushed strawberry, red cherry jam, morello cherry with kirsch in the background, crushed blueberry and elderberry. We also find notes of dried mint, licorice in the background, a hint of violet and lilac. The palate is concentrated, warm and offers a fine sweet and jamminess of the fruit. We find notes of morello cherry, morello cherry jam, roasted red cherry, crushed blackcurrant (or crème de cassis), ripe red currants and raspberry coulis, associated with notes of mint syrup and flower of elderberry, violet and a very slight note of nutmeg. The tannins are fine and silky. Beautiful acidity and persistent finish. A gourmand and fleshy wine, with a lovely freshness.
