The nose is fruity and offers a slight intensity as well as power. It reveals notes of crushed boysenberry, cassis and slight hints of griotte associated with a subtle hint of redcurrant jam, spices, toasted hint as well as a very discreet hint of chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a slight acid frame, minerality, a slight suavity, a good definition, juiciness, roundness as well as a good volume. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy fleshy blackberry, cassis and slight notes of plum associated with slight hints of wild/juicy raspberry as well as discreet toasted hints and dark chocolate. Tannins are a bit tight and well-built. Good length and aromatic persistence. There is a slight touch of juicy blackberry and violet on the persistence.
