The nose is airy, fragrant, delicate, with notes of juicy and tangy red fruits (red cherry, morello cherry, blackcurrant in the background, blackberry, black plum), peony, combined with a fine toasted and chocolatey side, a fine touch of dried mint and sweet spices (licorice, nutmeg) and toasted hazelnut. The palate is lively and chiseled, with a good bitterness of wild cherry and cranberries, complemented by morello cherry, red cherry, coffee bitterness, a hint of licorice, coffee, toast and peony. The finish is persistent, tangy, with high and sharp acidity. Lots of freshness, accuracy. The tannins are fine, but solid.
