Domaine de l’A 2019 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is elegant and offers power (full of finesse), deepness, precision as well as a small chiseled side. It reveals notes of wild cassis, blackberry and small notes of Cuben pepper / black pepper associated with touches of raspberry, pulpy small fruits as well as fine hints of iris, nutmeg and very discreet hints of blond tobacco / spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers good definition, a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, fine tension, elegant minerality, beautiful precision / finesse of the grain, freshness as well as fine concentration. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cassis, pulpy / juicy blackberry and small notes of wild raspberry associated with small touches of violet, chocolate, cardamom as well as a hint of cornflowers / blue berries , blond tobacco / liquorice and an imperceptible hint of vanilla pod. Tannins are well-built and structuring. Good length and persistence.
