The nose is fruity, concentrated, slightly powerful and offers density (in the background). It reveals notes of crushed black cherry, crushed cassis and fine notes of blackberry jam combined with small touches of crushed strawberry, toasted oak, vanilla, black olive as well as a subtle hint of grove and mocha. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers a nice mineral frame, a fine suavity, a fine acidity (background), tension, an aerial side, density and a good structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of black cherry / crushed Bigarreau cherry and blackberry jam associated with touches of crushed cassis, red fruits, crushed / ripe red berries as well as hints of chocolate, vanilla/wood and a very discreet hint of black olive. Tannins are fine and very slightly dry. Good length. There is a hint of dark chocolate on the persistence.
