The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose offers lots of fruit and freshness. It reveals notes of juicy red and black fruits (strawberry, red plum, black plum, raspberry, blackcurrant), as well as a hint of dried raspberry in the background, a smoky and peppery hints, notes of aromatic herbs and dried flowers (thyme, rosemary, dried rose petals, violet) and garrigue. On the palate, the wine offers roundness and freshness. It reveals flavors of tangy red and black fruits (raspberry, cranberries, strawberry, red cherry, morello cherry, blueberry), with fine spicy and tasty notes of white pepper, roasted meat, dried aromatic herbs (garrigue, thyme, rosemary, bay leaf), liquorice and wild mint. The tannins have a fine grain and are well-integrated. The finish is persistent and fruity.
