Domaine de Coste Chaude – Florilège 2019 – Côtes du Rhône Village Visan

The nose is racy and offers a small concentration as well as a certain power. It reveals notes of blackberry, small wild berries, small notes of pepper associated with touches of garrigue/olive tree, black olive, laurel berries, incense as well as fine hints of grey pepper and an imperceptible hint of lavender (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a good definition, a very fine concentration as well as a small stretchy side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, violet plum, small notes of small fresh red fruits associated with touches of cherry blossom, sage, verbena, chocolate as well as hints of roasted hazelnut, tobacco and a subtle hint of garrigue (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length.
