The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is delicate, reserved, but offers a certain complexity as well as airiness. It expresses notes of red cherry juice, fresh morello cherry, crushed raspberry, strawberry andred currant jelly, combined with notes of violet, dried rose petals, as well as herbaceous (dried mint, rosemary) and spicy touches (licorice, cloves). On the palate, the wine is airy, juicy on the attack, but a little tight in the mid-palate. It offers flavors of strawberry, raspberry, fresh red currants, a touch of bitterness from cranberries, as well as fine floral (rose, violet), herbaceous (rosemary, dried mint) and spice notes in the background (licorice), a touch of white pepper. The tannins have a fine texture, but a little tight. The acidity is lively, and the finish is fresh and tangy. A wine of freshness and precision.
