The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers a certain deepness and a certain aromatic purity. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild blueberry, small notes of small wild black fruits associated with touches of violet, sense of the place (local biotope), thyme flowers as well as fine hints of wild strawberry, clove/spices and very fine hints of grey pepper. The palate is fruity and offers precision, a fine straightness, a certain aromatic purity as well as suavity and a juicy/acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, crunchy/juicy blueberry, small notes of small wild black berries associated with small touches of violet, dry garrigue/sense of the place, sweet spices, a discreet hint of sugared mild tobacco and a very discreet hint of chocolate/caramelization. Good length. A finish slightly powdered. Very fine hints of dry almond/almond butter on the persistence.
