The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers a certain deepness, intensity and a fine grain. It reveals notes of cassis, wild blackberry, small notes of small black berries associated with touches of black pepper, black olive as well as small hints of local biotope (garrigue, eucalyptus, dry olive tree), a discreet hint of nutmeg and incense. The palate is fruity, slightly tight, racy and offers juiciness, a small minerality, straightness, a small concentration as well as precision and a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, juicy cassis, small notes of violet, lily associated with touches of small black berries, dry garrigue, spices, a discreet hint of red berries, toasted oak as well as an imperceptible hint of rosemary and black pepper (in the background). Good length. Tannins are structuring and finely chewy.
