Domaine de Cambes 2018 – Côte de Bourg

The nose is fruity, juicy and offers freshness, gourmandize as well as afleshy/juicy beautiful fruit. It reveals notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry, fleshy/juicy blueberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy cassis associated with touches of grilled bread, roasted, fine hints of lily, cornflower, liquorice as well as discreet hints of minerality, tonka bean and very discreet hints of toasted almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, juiciness, a good definition, gourmandize, a mineral frame as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes offleshy/juicy blackberry, ripe/crushed cassis and small notes of liquorice associated with touches of juicy blueberry, juicy black cherry, hints of grilled bread, dark chocolate, spices as well as very discreet hints of toasted hazelnut. Tannins are eleegant, fine and structuring. Good length. Very fine sapidity and presence of a very discreet hint of flowers on the finish/persistence.
