Domaine de Bonnardot Santennay 2022 – Santenay

The wine has a bright pale ruby ​​color. The nose offers accuracy, a beautiful herbaceous freshness, as well as the juiciness of fresh fruits. It expresses aromas of red cherry, tart strawberry, crushed raspberry, blueberry and blackcurrant, associated with delicate notes of blackcurrant leaf, peppermint, as well as a hint of toast, tobacco and sweet spices (nutmeg, liquorice). We also see a slight touch of balsamic and cocoa in the background. The palate is juicy, fruity, with a fine hint of macerated and roasted fruits. It expresses flavors of fresh red cherry and morello cherry, roasted red cherry, crushed raspberry, strawberry and redcurrant jelly, associated with notes of tobacco, nutmeg, liquorice, white pepper, the bitterness of cranberries, as well as a herbaceous touch of blackcurrant leaf in the background. Beautiful salivating and fresh acidity, the tannins are velvety and very fine. The finish is chiseled, juicy, lively and tasty, with notes of tart red cherry and blackcurrant and a toasted hint on the persistence.
