The nose needs to be decanted. There are notes of wild blackberry, flowers and small notes of a sense of the place (local biotope) associated with an almost rose touch, discreet hints of Cubeb pepper as well as discreet hints of smoke and graphene. The palate is nicely built, sapid, supple, juicy and offers minerality as well as a tangy frame. Nice brightness of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, bright raspberry and small notes of bright red berries associated with touches of cornflower, star anise as well as fine hints of nutmeg, flowers and liquorice stick. Nice iodine/saline hint in the background. Tannins are relatively large and offer a small chew.
