The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a small power as well as finesse. It reveals notes of cherry, violet, bright redcurrant associated with small touches of blackberry as well as very fine hints of fresh mild tobacco, laurel berries, very discreet hints of spices and a subtle hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, gourmandize, suppleness as well as suavity and silkiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, redcurrant, small notes of violet associated with touches of cherry, rose as well as fine hints of mild tobacco, almond, nutmeg, a very discreet hint of laurel berries as well as subtle hints of toasted/sweet spices. Tannins are well-built.
