Domaine de Baronarques 2023 – Limoux

The nose is fruity, elegant, airy, precise and offers a beautiful intensity of the fruit. We find notes of bright kumquat, citrus and small notes of fleshy vine peach associated with touches of small crushed fruits as well as discreet floral hints, a subtle, almost verbena hint and a very discreet hint of hawthorn and chamomile. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh and offers a beautiful energy, a tangy frame, tension, precision, suppleness as well as racy minerality. A beautiful purity and brightness of fruit. In mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy peach, bright brugnon and small notes of fleshy apple associated with touches of quenette, lychee as well as discreet hints verbena, sage, hints of fresh butter, a very discreet hint of brioche. Good length. A well-built wine, fresh, gourmand and offers minerality, a beautiful roundness, suppleness and an enveloping side. A subtle iodine hint in the background. Subtle chewiness and energy on the finish. Beautiful texture.
