The wine has a pale straw color, limpid and shiny. The nose is aromatic, fruity but above all very mineral with touches of racy minerality, a sense of place with a gunflint aspect and white smoke. There are notes of juicy white peach, apricot, fresh cavaillon melon as well as touches of barrel aging with a hint of butter, vanilla and toast. It is a wine that needs a bit of aeration. Touches of sweet spices and aromatic herbs such as peppermint then appear. The mouth is fresh, round with a mineral frame but above all a nice dynamic acidity. There are notes of juicy peach, luscious stone fruit and lemon. We also perceive fine hints of toast, vanilla pod, vanilla cream and butter. On the acidity, touches of crunchy green apple appear as well as lemon and candied melon. The finish is lingering on pepper and custard with a hint of roasted coconut.
