The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a nice fine fatness, intensity and stretch in its fatness. There are notes of pulpy nectarine, white flowers/honeysuckle and more lightly apricot combined with subtle touches of apricot flowers, almond, butter as well as a discreet nuance of salinity and sage. The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals freshness, minerality, a crystalline side, juiciness, energy, dynamism, some fat and roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy apricot, crushed nectarine and compote, more slightly white flowers combined with touches of sweet tangerine, vanilla and a subtle hint of toasted almond. Good length. Subtle hint of sage and salinity in the background. Energy, nice fatness and a nice structure to the wine. Subtle, almost tannic, sapid quality on the finish.
