Domaine Cluny – Les Charmes 2018 – Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru

The nose is fruity, elegant, finely tight and offers a fine concentration full of length and elegance. It reveals notes of small wild blue berries, cornflower, wild strawberry, small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of violet, liquorice as well as discreet hints of cassis leaf/varietal hints, a subtle hint of black tea and a racy minerality. The palate is fruity, juicy, fresh, elegant, beautifully defined and offers precision, elegance as well as straightness (full of elegance) and a beautiful unctuous/delicate touch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, small bright wild blue berries, small notes of cassis leaf associated with touches of bright cherry as well as a subtle hint of graphite/racy minerality, discreet hints of zan and fresh tobacco leaf. Good length.
