Domaine Clément, Cuvée Fût de Chêne 2021 – Bourgogne Coulanges-la-Vineuse

The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is aromatic, spicy and delicately woody. It expresses notes of crunchy strawberry, raspberry, red plum, red cherry, ground clove, cumin, white pepper, combined with a smoky touch in the background, as well as a touch of dried rose and dried rosemary. The palate offers sapidity, notes of tangy fruits (red cherry, raspberry, cranberries, red currant, bigarreau cherry), associated with a fine spiciness (white pepper, clove, cumin) and smoke, with a touch of dried rose and rosemary in the background. The finish is moderately persistent, it continues with notes of sweet spices, good bitterness and crunchy acidity. The tannins are velvety and melted.
