Domaine Clavel – Cascaille 2019 – Languedoc

The nose is mineral. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of juicy / fresh lemon, lemon zest and small notes of tangerine zest associated with a touch of mesocarp, dried apple skin, slight hints of fresh rosemary as well as a discreet hint of verbena and sense of place (local biotop). The palate is fruity, mineral and offers a good finesse of the grain, a good definition, precision, aromatic purity, gourmandize as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy apple, lychee and small notes of juicy lemon associated with small touches of zest, tangerine, a discreet hint of apple blossoms as well as a subtle hint of fresh rosemary, rosemary blossoms, racy minerality and a sense of place (local biotop). Good length.
