The fruit and spices have a fine presence on the palate, showing a nice interplay on a rich, full attack. The wine’s tension is quickly put into perspective, with lively, energetic spices and red fruit. The tannins are precise and assertive, yet fresh and very polished. The overall balance of this wine is magnificent, in an assertive style, expressing notes of pistachio and mint on the finish.
