Domaine Changarnier – Pierrefite 2017 – Monthelie

The nose is fruity, aromatic, elegant and gourmand. It reveals notes of fleshy/crushed cherry, plum and small notes of wild blackberry associated with touches of violet, primrose as well as fine hints of gray pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, suave, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, a good definition, a beautiful juiciness, a fine straightness as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy red cherry, fleshy/juicy black berries and small notes of juicy/acidulous raspberry associated with small touches of crushed plum, violet/cornflower as well as a very discreet hint of zan and chocolate (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant and precise. There is an imperceptible iodine hint on the persistence.
