The nose is powerful, racy and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis and cherry associated with small notes of crushed redcurrant, strawberry and fine touches of spices, toasted oak, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of caramelized almond. The palate is fruity, well- balanced and offers a good definition, a fine mineral frame, a very fine acidity, fleshiness as well as a beautiful, (very) slightly unctuous and (very) slightly tight. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, crushed redcurrant and jammy wild raspberry combined with hints of cassis, blueberry and discreet toasted hints, zan and a very discreet / imperceptible touch of vanilla. Tannins are fine, very finely firm and structuring. Good length and good persistence.
