Domaine Changarnier – Champs Fulliot 2018 – Monthelie 1er Cru

The nose offers a fine grain, a small power, a fine straightness as well as a small intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, pulpy wild strawberry, small notes of blueberry associated with touches of lily, rose, fleshy red berries as well as small hints of sweet spices, liquorice stick, a very fine hint of vanilla/toasted and caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, freshness, dynamism as well as a beautiful definition, a beautiful precise/generous fruit, suavity, a very fine unctuosity and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/pulpy cherry, crushed red berries, small notes of plum/bright plum associated with touches of crushed blackberry, lily, violet as well as a subtle hint of rose, racy minerality, camphor, liquorice stick and a very discreet hint of caramelization. Tannins are structuring and well-built. Appetence on the finish/persistence.
