Ruby colour with a light brick hue. Initially the nose explodes with sweet spices. A blast of cumin and black pepper quickly fades with aeration. Notes of small red berries and a light hint of liquorice show through. The palate is full-bodied, with delicious notes of red cherries, strawberries and raspberries. Spices take over on the mid-palate. The tannins are very light and mellow. It makes the wine accessible. The finish is coherent, with a trio of red plums, white pepper and liquorice.
