Light raspberry colour. Discreet nose of red plum, redcurrant and fresh raspberry. A hint of spice in the echo. Delicate attack on the palate. Fruit dominates. The mid-palate offers dense nuances of raspberries with a few spices in the background. As the wine progresses, notes of fresh coffee emerge, making the whole more complex. Sweet spices also emerge and the finish is lively, fresh and taut. A wine that is more nervous and complex than it first appeared. A nice surprise that should age well, as the coffee character suits it particularly well.
