The palate is fresh, fruity and offers minerality, elegance, gourmandize, a nice definition, a nice freshness, roundness, fullness, tension as well as an airy side and very discreetly tight. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, fresh redcurrants and more slightly oleander associated with touches of fresh cork oak / oak leaf, fresh raspberry, hints of liquorice, chocolate / cocoa, thyme fresh as well as a subtle hint of scrubland, a very discreet hint of hazelnut and caramelization (in the background). Tannins are elegant, precise and racy. Presence of an imperceptible hint of liquorice, chocolate and thyme flowers in the background / finish. A nice stretched side / guideline on the finish / persistence. A beautiful wine that needs time.
