The nose is fruity, elegant, full and offers deepness in intensity, a little freshness (from the soil) as well as a mastered power. There are notes of dried cassis, black plum and more slightly of black tea, licorice, wild strawberry, hints of sage, discreet hints of local scrubland / sense of place as well as a subtle hint of pepper (black and gray) and a very discreet hint of rosemary flowers. The palate is fruity, elegant, well-balanced, racy, bright and offers delicacy, juiciness, gourmandize as well as a nice tangy / juicy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / crushed redcurrants, pulpy / crushed raspberries and more slightly of tangy plum associated with touches of wild blackberry, black tea / bergamot as well as hints of rosemary, sage, discreet hints of toasted almonds, a subtle grilled hint and a very discreet hint of gray pepper. Presence of a very discreet hint of graphite in the background. Tannins are precise, sapidity and elegant. Good length. A beautiful chew and sapidity on the finish.
