Domaine Carrette – Les Crays 2016 – Pouilly-Fuissé

The nose is elegant and racy. The wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of pear, quince and fine touches of citrus associated with fine hints of butter and fine toasted hints. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a fine acid frame, a fine minerality racy, juiciness, gourmandise, a fine tension, a good structure as well as a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe citrus (lemon, grapefruit), quince and small notes of white fruits associated with fine toasted touches, butter as well as a very discreet hint of small yellow fruits. Good length.
